To start off, the owner, a cheerful man named Salvo, made sure our party had a great time after a Chelsea game by setting up a special area for us. The tables were set with broth and water, and soon after, delicious slices of garlic tomato pizza were served, which we all enjoyed. We had plenty of Peroni beer flowing and ordered our dinners. Despite a slight hiccup with my dish, the service was good and the atmosphere was perfect for our group of 14 celebrating a baptism. Overall, it was a memorable experience.
The food at this restaurant is not bad, but it's nothing to write home about. It seems to be an Italian restaurant, with the tomato sauce being a standout dish. However, the owner's behavior can be a bit off-putting. He is overly Italian in his mannerisms and seemed drunk throughout our meal. Oddly enough, when we asked for the bill, he suddenly became much more composed and normal.
This is my top pick for Italian dining! The cuisine is truly authentic and delicious. I highly recommend trying the pizza Parma - it's fantastic.
This is a fantastic small restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices. The portion sizes could be a bit larger, but the staff is friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return when I am in the area.
The service was awful, the pizza tasted like it was from a supermarket, the owner is crazy, and his wife seems to be a drug addict.
