Tom's Kitchen - Kensington and Chelsea

We had a meal here in late November with a friend, we were sat upstairs! Initially I was disappointed as we were the only table up there, but that changed fairly quickly! The food was great, fish and chips were lovely! The only negative was that it got a little too loud, so we struggled to hear on another, but the food and service were great!

This restaurant is overrated, overpriced and overall a below average experience. We visited for brunch, the prawn and crab eggs Benedict was ok but nothing right write home about. The minute steak was too chewy and hard to cut with the steak knife they provided and when we told our waiter he offered another knife!!! They also offered to change it but advised it would all be the same! The blueberry pancake I ordered because obviously I couldn’t eat the steak was quite dense. I wouldn’t eat here again.

Slowest service I’ve ever received. And the barista needs an attitude adjustment immediately. Food was great though...

Despite living nearby, I hadn't visited Tom's until this week.

We had a delicious dinner with great service. The menu had many varied dishes and it was difficult to make a selection as we were keen on so many.
