I had lunch here with my book club and found the place quite nice. It was quiet enough so we could carry on a conversation, service was excellent and food was fine. We all selected the crab and shrimp Louie. It had plenty of seafood on it but was a bit sparse when it came to croutons and olives. There weren't any. The place seemed clean but the finish on the tables was badly worn. It is unfortunate that they would let such an easy fix go without sprucing them up. The view out to the golf course was lovely and I imagine the patio is good on warm days. I would be happy to go back.
They have completely changed their menu. Will never be eating there and we live in the neighborhood. EXTREMELY disappointed. They need to read the surrounding area and realize the food doesn't match the clientele. Maybe they will eventually realize they had a good thing going and bring back the old menu.
Went for family dinner looking to sit outdoors but sat inside. When one table opened server made us pay for bill before sitting outdoors and we hadn't had food yet! Topped it off with overcooked nasty eggs on salad, half spilled au jus all over soggy onion rings. Service USED to be better than this very disappointing!
My husband and I absolutely adore this place. We frequently visit for a relaxing afternoon beer after some time at the driving range - he refers to it as practice, while I see it as an hour of him critiquing my stance and grip. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of beers, typically 30 or more on tap, as well as a variety of wines and spirits. When we first moved here nine years ago, the menu was more extensive with a focus on steaks and chops. Nowadays, it leans towards pub grub such as nachos, fish and chips, sliders, hot wings, and burgers. While I enjoy pub food, I do miss the old days when they had a wider variety of steak options and entrees. However, they still offer at least one steak and their whiskey chicken dish, which is consistently delicious though quite rich and filling. Despite the changes in the menu, I still give them a five-star rating because the food is typically delicious and the location, ambiance, and drink selection are unbeatable. Rachel, the bar manager, always greets us with a smile and a hug for the regulars. I recommend trying their breakfast on Saturdays or Sundays.
