Ignore false review from Repmek in the reviews, here's the real story from a customer that witnessed the situation.Stopped with the family on the drive home after a long drive from Chicago to central Indiana to see the eclipse. The place was busy, and after eating we could see why. Excellent tavern pizzas and the bread sticks were worth the wait. I don't know if it was because we we're outside all day but even the salad was fantastic, we even bot a bottle of the red dressing to take home! We also ordered some cheese sticks to start the meal and they came out better than we could have expected. The only downside was a gentleman that was standing at the front counter waiting for his order, instead of staying seated at his table with his (rather unusual) family. He was impatiently checking his watch and giving rude looks to the employees as though the restaurant wasn't full of people headed home after the eclipse (it took us an extra 90 minutes to fight through traffic). After their food was brought out he loudly complained that he shouldn't have waited for almost an hour, even though he had a large order with a family of 5. They proceeded to eat the entirety of two pizzas, breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, and salad, and then complain that the food was all gone, even after they had eaten everything. This man and his family spent the entire time eating, taking small rat like nibbles of food instead of a normal bite. I don't know if this was so the family would waste time and prevent more people from coming in, but it was disturbing. Half of our time waiting for our food to arrive, I couldn't take my eyes off of his unusual looking wife and his very ugly children. Unfortunately in a desperate bid to not pay for (what I would deem a fantastic dinner option) he made a threat of leaving a poor review, and he did receive on of the pizzas for free as an apology. My family and I certainly enjoyed our experience outside of the other customers that seemed attention seeking, and will make this a regular stop when our travels bring us south (as they often do to visit family). Parking: A large parking lot located by the building. Kid-friendliness: Fun activities on the placemats to keep younger kids engaged and crayons for coloring.
We waited over an hour for very mediocre pub pizza. We also got mozzarella sticks and they were rancid.
Always get my order to pick up. Love, love, love the pizza. Can always get it just the way I want.
Excellent service!! We truly experienced a fine dining experience. The restaurant was full of eager beavers, willing to work to make sure our night on the town was the best it could be. Not only were we asked about refills frequently, but also the staff was seen rushing to attend the bathrooms. Very impressive and a pleasurable experience. Highly recommend!
