I should mention that I grew up in Harrison, NJ where the community is Portuguese, I learned their culture, their food, and speaking loudly and all of it goes far beyond a plate of food. Everything they touch is done with care, dedication and art. Yesterday May 10, 2024 around 7 pm I visited this place, I just wanted Carbon Cod with a glass of wine. Excellent code but the wine never arrived. I saw the restaurant fill up and everyone was kindly served. At the end my bill arrived and obviously the charge for the glass of wine that never arrived. I must say that they offered me a drink and a little later one of the girls apologized. I understand that having a unique table is nothing compared to a dirty table, so I leave it very much to be desired.

Always a good choice, family combo is the way to go offers all the meats, sides and more that will feed the whole family at a decent price.

We were very well served by the waitresses; the food was great, well served, seasoned, hot, the cod was on point. Thank you very much….. God bless you

Always such a nice place good authentic Portuguese home cooked food. Service is great, portions are huge. It’s a very friendly cozy place to eat. A word of warning there are no windows so from the outside it looks like it’s not open.
