We are so fortunate to have a place like this in the Bay of Islands. The location is stunning, situated on the edge of a tropical garden. It feels like you're in Bali or some other tropical paradise, especially if you choose to dine outside (we've never dined inside, haha). The food here is always a delightful experience. While we don't visit often due to living outside of Keri, when we do, it never disappoints. The price reflects the quality of the food, and it's definitely worth it. This has become our go-to spot for anniversary dinners! The flavors are exceptional, and while the menu concepts may seem unconventional, they work perfectly. It's a place that encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and try new dishes. The menu is seasonal, and we enjoyed a meal from the summer menu. You can tell that the chef puts a lot of love and effort into his craft, and it shows in the dishes. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, treating us like regulars. Laughter is abundant in this happy place.

Diane is a talented mixologist who crafts divine cocktails, while her husband, the chef, skillfully prepares mouthwatering dishes using locally sourced ingredients. No matter the occasion, this exceptional restaurant should be at the top of your list to visit.

The restaurant is situated in the midst of stunning gardens, offering a truly delightful setting and a beautiful atmosphere. We dined with a large group and the majority of us were pleased with our meals. I opted for the fish with scallop and edamame risotto and it was definitely a worthwhile choice! Diane provided excellent service and was very attentive and friendly towards us.

Came here for lunch and we had Tankatsu, lobster bique and wood ear fungi everything was good but the portions were bit small and the tortellini were too salty and we could taste the flour dough. The whole vibe of the resturant was really great highly recommended for drinks.

How lucky is Kerikeri (and Northland to have Ming and Diane running their beautiful restaurant here? Fantastic japanese and mediterranean influenced food something different and reasonably priced for the ingredients' quality and their attention to detail! Their wide selection of (alcohol free drinks is fabulous (the mocktails sounded mouth watering, but I needed to keep something to try for next time ! We loved trying and sharing a few different things on the menu; it made our tastebuds sing, and we all left the restaurant so happy! Impeccable service and just a perfect night out for us, we will be back! :
