Contribuisci feedbackWe absolutely loved this place, so much so that we went back twice in a week! Our evenings at Dimitri’s started off by being driven up to the restaurant by their driver, George, who was wonderful a very warm gentleman. The waiter was also so friendly and had a great sense of humour too, so he created a brilliant atmosphere among all the diners. Then the food came out and we couldn’t have enjoyed it any more!! We had a trio of dips with traditional pitta to start both nights, as they were all delicious! Then came out the seafood linguine and my eyes really lit up you could taste the freshness and the quality of the seafood, which had been cooked beautifully! The moussaka is also absolutely delicious and a must try as well! Everyone there made such an effort to make sure we were comfortable, happy and we were really well looked after. And the view from the restaurant is just fabulous definitely worth a visit!
Very good views, good food and very kind and friendly service, but the strong smell of diesel and the price of desserts and coffees made the bill go up too much. 3 people with 2 dishes to share first and second for each one went up €122. On our first evening in Corfu we were looking for a nice taverna to have dinner. We spontaneously drove past Dimitri 's Restaurant and decided to stop there. There is virtually no parking situation directly in front of the restaurant. You have to park on the busy main street, very close to the side of the road. When we entered the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday, we were warmly welcomed. Unfortunately we were told that it would be difficult without a reservation. They could only offer us a place in the entrance area under a window the beautiful terrace is already completely booked. As a second option we were offered a table on the balcony. We looked at this table the table was more like a living room table, which stood lengthwise on a balcony that was about 1m wide. The view was really beautiful, although a bit frightening something like that is unthinkable in Germany. But we found it quite nice even if it took some effort and took a seat. The table was quickly set for us, the menus were handed out and we were asked what drinks we would like. After we received the drinks, we ordered grilled squid and a mixed suvlaki, with bread with tzatziki. The skewer was €17 and the squid was just under €18. When the food came, we were a bit confused about the portion size. The skewer only had 5 pieces of meat and a child 's hand sized portion of fries. With the squid in Sunmme there were 10 fries and a very manageable piece of the octopus. We 're not people who need to have our plates filled to capacity, but we found these portions at these prices a bit questionable. Since we were sitting very far away there was a small balcony right next to the kitchen we had to wait a long time until someone took care of us again. The terrace of the restaurant was now full and we were concentrating all our capacity on this place. Finally, because we were still hungry, we ordered a dessert that was recommended to us. It was a kind of semolina cake with ice cream it was really delicious. The quality of the main course was completely fine you can 't say anything against that. At the end of the evening we had a bill of just over €65 and we only drank a coke and a beer no wine or other more expensive spirits. We were amazed at the high bill. For this type of tavern where the mother or father cooks, we expected a much lower budget. Conclusion: Kitchen and service okay pricing excessive. We wouldn 't go there again.
What is beautiful and original Greek tavern. The dishes were delicious, the Viev from the hill is precious and the staff is very friendly. Highest recommendation!!!!
Wow what can we say from being picked up from the Villa by George a very knowledgeable part of the restaurant. Was met once arrived by Alison whom again very friendly shown us yo the table and then met Dimitri again all very friendly and made us so welcome then to be taken back to the Villa by George a really lovely evening a must go for a meal.
