China Palace - Kernersville

We just moved to Kernersville, where we lived before finding a great Chinese restaurant was an impossibility. We now found the place. This reminded us of our favorite place years ago but no longer is opened. We will not only be back but will definitely highly recommend it.

The first time I came here, I wasn’t a fan. Decided to try it again and was still not impressed. I ordered the chicken and broccoli through DoorDash and in the picture it shows that it comes with white rice, so naturally, I thought that it came with white rice. There were no options to choose what kind of rice you would like. It came with fried rice. When I called to ask why I didn’t get white rice they said “oh it comes with fried rice, idk why the picture shows that”. Never offered to remake it or fix it or anything. Also, I feel their portion sizes are much smaller than other Chinese restaurants, especially for the price.

It's a lovely Chinese restaurant on the corner of a shopping center. However, once you go in you are greeted and seated. You are waited on quickly and given ample food, it made two meals for me. Absolutely delicious! My husband had shrimp with lobster sauce and the shrimp were huge! I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. We went back later in the week and had lunch. I had vegetable fried rice that was out of this world. Highly, highly recommend!

Prior owner had the best food in the triad.. go back to his recipes especially hot and sour soup.. your food is not as good and like myself us old customers are coming back..

I grabbed food from here tonight and it had NO flavor! I called and expressed how my food was not good and some man literally yelled at me and told me to “bring his food back!” “don’t eat his food anymore” I was shocked to say the least but I did exactly that to receive a refund and best believe I’ll never eat from this place again. Not only does the food have NO flavor (like imagine chewing water) the customer service from him was poor. Shoutout to the lady at the from that apologized on his behalf and asked me to try it again another day. I will not but I appreciate your kindness during this moment. I usually take my losses when it comes to food I don’t like but I spent a pretty good amount on disgusting food. I’ve literally never had Chinese this bad before.
