Elizabeth's Italian Pizzeria

This is the absolute BEST Elizabeth? Pizza I ate. I always get a Steak Stromboli with mushroom, and I'm never disappointed. The staff is always friendly.

The food was quite disappointing, but the staff were exceptional. It was quite literally inedible. The meatballs tasted like they came straight from a frozen bag, and the sauce was bitter and lacked flavor—I've had better from ALDI. Even the mozzarella sticks seemed to be pre-packaged. However, I cannot fault the staff; they were very friendly and attentive.

I'm not coming back to this place. Customer service was terrible. I and my father decided to stop to get a pizza as we are familiar with other restaurants with the same name (that was fantastic, but it is clear this is not the same facility. After we had ordered, we came back 10 15 minutes later to pick up the order when people at the counter wouldn't interact with me, and after I had been careful, they refused to give me my order when I finally asked. The rest of the staff looked up in confusion without anyone trying to help me or even ask what happened. I asked the man on the counter why I couldn't get my order, he said that the person who leads the register to the left and would be back later (WHAT TYPE OF EXCUSE IS DIES?! I asked if I could pay money, the answer was, of course, no. Of course, I didn't want to come back. I don't want to think that this was racially motivated, because it could be just terrible customer service, but in any case they are clearly picky with whom they want to eat in their restaurant and I guess I wasn't one of them. Please, DO BETTER.

The food was quite good, which is what I expected from a small local pizza shop. However, I noticed the workers were preparing the food without wearing gloves, and I'm not sure if that's acceptable. I assume they cook the food, which would kill any bacteria, but I'm not entirely certain about that.

The food was bland to me. The Buffalo wings were hard, almost like plastic and the hot sauce wasn't spicy at all, the meat could have used some seasoning salt. The best part about the pizza was the cheese. With the dough being so dry, I could not have given a better score. Lastly, the mozzarella sticks were also decent but the marinara was not great.
