What's more, I feel completely safe going there alone as a woman. The staff are consistently friendly, cheerful, and attentive. They often host food trucks, along with music and comedy nights. Had nothing going on tonight so went to BKKVGS and felt comfie, solo, thanks to “Not So Average” Joe and the great customers I met (and a pet squirrel). ———————— Fast forward a month: not changing my initial ratingsbecause I love this place and most of the people that work there (plus I don’t want to negatively impact their overall rating negatively). But there is one “Badtender” that could learn a lot from his lovely dog. Past and recent negative interactions with him. He’s super-friendly to people he knows, but acts like your bothering him if he doesn’t know you. He makes me wish I stayed at home.

Cool decor and tap list, both bartenders were pretty bad... no customer service basics, bad pours, low energy.

This is a unique little spot. While the selection of beer on tap isn't huge, they do offer a great variety of craft beers in their coolers. The decor is an eclectic mix of signs, lights, and fabrics, which adds to the charm. They host a lot of live music on weekends, featuring a large stage area and outdoor seating. On Monday nights, they have live bluegrass music, which is quite rare in the Triad. My only complaint is that there’s one bartender who tends to be a bit unfriendly, but aside from that, it’s a lovely place to visit.

We really enjoy this place. They have a great selection of NC beers on tap and, in my opinion, the best bottle shop in the Triad. There's always a different Gingers Revenge on tap, along with some excellent IPAs. They also host fantastic food trucks, like Twin City Minis, and there's a coffee truck on-site as well. The live music is great quality, although there can be a cover charge sometimes. There's plenty to see here; the vibe is awesome, the people are cool, and it's dog-friendly! There's usually a pup or two around. It's also kid-friendly, making it one of my favorite spots for sure!
