Tasca Portuguesa - Kesklinna

We had a lovely meal after spontaneously dropping in on a slightly drizzly November Thursday evening. While the list of entrees looked nice, we went straight for mains and dessert. The mushroom brás was delightful, as was the tuna steak. For dessert, we went with the easiest choice which as pastéis de nata and a little port wine. Very satisfied, we will definitely be back again!

Great ambience, food was really delicious, simple but yet truly Portuguese flavors. Really recommend tuna steak. Good service. Also they have great wine list, wines from lots of different regions of Portugal. Recommend to book a table, gets quite busy on weekends.

Wow. What a surprise. Excellent little restaurant in the heart of old town Tallinn. The menu is relatively small but that means attention to each item in the menu is exceptional. The garlic shrimp as a starter was amazing and we asked for extra bread to soak up all the leftover garlic butter with mild citrus undertones. The sliced steak was cooked to perfection and nicely salted with crunchy Portuguese chips. The bifana with pork and shrimp as well as the bifana prego was excellent but a little small on the portion. We could have eaten 2 of these easily. The service was great and the small restaurant is cozy with lovely background music. We came for lunch around 2pm and were one of 3 tables. I would go back here in an instant. Don’t forget to try their pastel de nata and an Irish coffee to top of a cold rainy afternoon. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon in Tallinn!

Amazing place. The people serving is really helpful and the chef extremely kind. We ordered bacalhau com natas, calamares and shrimps with garlic. I don't know which one is my preferred, but the bacalhau is a must. We combined everything with white wine from the house. We definitely come back when we visit Tallinn again. Thanks for the experience!

Kelly is amazing! Very kind service, great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended sitting on the terrace in the beautiful old town of Tallinn and enjoying Portuguese seafood with a glass of white wine.
