Roundhouse - Ketchum

Great experience. The food is a bit expensive, but it definitely tastes good. The servers are very attentive. The outside seats would be cool, but fill up quickly. Would definitely recommend to eat here once or twice, but buy a ticket for the gondola then pay for dinner or lunch is not something I would do regularly.

Talk about the largest place in the house! It was breathtaking sitting on the terrace and the food was just as spectacular! Make sure you have reservations... Although I think you might come in, it's a gamble. And they close at 3, I think because the gondola doesn't run around 4 anymore.

On the positive side, the facility is great and the food and service were very good. On the negative side (and it far outweighed the positive side) was the management and the manager in particular. We had called well in advance to see if we needed a reservation and were told that it's a first come first served policy. When we got to the restaurant we were told that we needed reservations. We told the manager that we had been told no reservations were necessary. She said that there wasn't anything we could do about that unless we knew the name of the person we talked to on the phone. The manager acted like it was our fault and there wasn't anything she could do about it. In our lines of business there's always something you can do about it. An apology would have been a good start. I recommend an overhaul of management policies and strict supervision of the manager. This type of behavior is unacceptable for a well known and mostly recommended resort. I intend to take this matter up at a higher level of responsibility

We sat outside. A bit windy, but enjoyable. Food was decent and my Baldy burger was cooked to order. Nice place to take visitors.
