Great to see a local business doing really well in a small Northamptonshire town. I would encourage everyone to turn off the main road, drive past the Costa coffee and look for this gem on the High street. Friendly, fun service, great coffee and a menu that Lucy is constantly evolving and changing, especial the sandwiches. We need more places like this and less chains coming into smaller towns and villages.
Called in after shopping, had a toasted tea cake and a tea and coffee nice large fresh tea cakes, tea and coffee nice, not that large but quaint, all cakes made by lucy they looked very nice, gets our thumbs up, defo go again.
We went with some friends disappointing the coffee machine wasn’t working or the microwave so we had tea and ordinary coffee which wasn’t very nice the sausage rolls were not that good they fell apart and the sausage meat tasted odd not as nice as it looks on an iPad that said the staff were pleasant just not our thing
We had the afternoon tea and the cheese afternoon tea. Both were generous and delicious. There was Stilton ,Brie ,hot Camembert, cheddar and cheese scones. Afternoon tea had one round of sandwiches with plenty of choices, scones with clotted cream and jam and 3 types of cakes with strawberries. Tea was refillable. The tea room was quirky and quaint. The service great. Would recommend
