The Old Bakery Tea Room - Kettering

Today, really disappointed, new peculiarities have not maintained the standards by previous owners. the service was very cold and unfriendly, no inviting warmth, their kind left the whole experience down. will not go back there.

We have set the beautiful old bakery tea room for a Caribbean theme dinner event. the meal was three courses and exceeded all expectations! excellent price and delicious! thanks kevin and team!

Well , if you like the settings of Agatha Christie’s novels, then boy are you in for a treat. This little cafe oozes charm from another age. Attentive staff with the most fantastic food. This could a treat for love ones or a just passing...brew whichever it is you won’t be disappointed. It’s tucked away off the main road, which helps it retain the village atmosphere. If your around the area it’s worth a detour. Be warned the portions are very generous. Pricing is competitive everything is Home produced or locally sourced.. enjoy

We can walk along the river to Weekley Village which we have done twice this month with friends. Both times we all enjoyed out lunches salads are very good and the cakes are to die for. This last time the service was rather slow...but as it was very sunny a table was brought out onto the decking under the shade of the tree, and umbrellas found for the people on the other side of the decking. It is nice to see the place clean and tidy as before it changed hand it was disgraceful the amount of dust there was and the faded pictures. One small thing rather a lot of cobwebs in the toilet.

The first time to visit today, excellent menu choice, staff very friendly and helpful. we had the kartoffels with various fillings and by the side followed sticky toffee pudding and custard. excellent and will go back to the final.
