Gibs On The Lake - Kewaunee

Found out about this place from some locals. Really excellent service. Food didn't take too long to come out. My husband likes his old fashioned. They have a good bar selection for various drinks. My steak could have had more seasoning, but I added the mushrooms and onions. That really helped. Mushrooms were so good (after a little salt). We would come back here again if in the area.

We went here pretty late on a night where mosquitos ruined our original anniversary plans. I had some sort of German rolled up steak dish my wife had meatballs and dumplings. Everything was very good including service. (We made it out before closing)

Very good food, service was outstanding. We both had pasta dishes that the pasta was cooked perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had our anniversary dinner at Gibs. We ordered Tenderloin and Lasagna. It was fantastic. The salad and bread was so fresh and tasteful. We also got a surprise from Mary with a piece of dessert and writing with chocolate Happy Anniversary on the plate. We had such a joyful time. Bill the bartender was an A+ also. Thank you

Enjoyed the German specialties, served on Wednesdays and Thursdays only. The sauerkraut rye bread was fantastic. Super friendly staff. Great lake views too! Note there is a surcharge for using a credit card.
