Bobalu's Southern Cafe - Key West

This roadside cafe/bar is really nice. I highly recommend stopping here if you're on your way to Key West.

Great Dining Experience!! Very comfortable, beach vibe, authentic!

We We're glad to have discovered this hidden gem! Even though it is on the main drag! We got the stuffed grouper with crab! It was excellent The kids sides were also very good with chicken strips and shrimp! Our 9-year-old rated the shrimp a 10/10!

We didn't have a reservation for outdoor seating, but we brought our two small dogs. The restaurant made accommodations for us at an indoor table, which was very nice of them. Our waitress was extremely friendly and always had a smile on her face. The food, however, was not very impressive. We ordered a steak, fried chicken, and a fish sandwich. Unfortunately, all of our mashed potatoes were cold, the chicken was barely warm, the cornbread was not tasty, and the fish was overcooked. On the bright side, the steaks had a great flavor and were cooked perfectly, and the cole slaw was very good. Overall, we would give this place another try and order something different next time.

Pizza was amazing! Cooked perfectly. Was surprised how amazing it was. Definitely going again before we leave the keys!
