Sarabeth's - Key West

The food was the best we had in Key West. We highly recommend it. Unfortunately they were closed on Monday and Tuesday or we would have eaten there everyday for our day visit. We wanted to try other entrees because the food was so good

We had an early evening reservation here on They have both indoor and outdoor seating but with both high temperature and humidity we opted to eat inside. This a a comfortable space and even with a few other tables were occupied the noise level is fine. The choice of first courses vary and there was a Prix Fixe menu available, which was unexpected. Same times from the regular menu with a choice of first, main and dessert courses. My wife had a whole yellow tail snapper which is deboned, then flash fried and served upright on the plate. It is stuffed with served with arugula, fennel, cherry tomato salad, citrus soy vinaigrette, I had the coconut curry rice which is shrimp on a bed of coconut rice, red curry sauce, served with sautéed spinach, Both dishes were excellent. There were various fish choices on the menu and steak for the carnivores. Also an interesting selection of desserts

Went for Sunday fried chicken night and our expectations were exceeded. Perfectly cooked chicken with the best gravy. Service was fast and friendly. Overall excellent experience

Sunday night chicken is soooooo good! The entire staff is incredibly friendly
