The Stoned Crab - Key West

We ordered the grouper fritters, fish dip, and paella for two. Everything was quite tasty! We added a little hot sauce to the paella to give it a little more kick. There was plenty of seafood on the paella and so much rice, that it could have easily fed three hungry people! Feeding the sharks was fun while waiting for our food!

Service was the worst we've experienced in the Keys by far. The hostess was rude. The waitress took 20 minutes to bring us our bottle of wine, which she couldn't open and asked us to do it. Then took another almost 10 minutes to bring the ice bucket to keep it cold. She never checked on us and we had to ask her if we could order. Food took a long time to come out and there were only 3 tables with guest in the entire restaurant full. The food itself was not good at all. The only decent thing was the stone crab, which is because they didn't have to do anything with it.

Worse dining experience we had at key west. Very disappointing as we have nothing but great experiences at Key West restaurants up to this point. Portion sizes are small. The service was awful. When I ordered a drink, I was told they were out of the drink. I ordered a different drink and both drinks were served to me. For a restaurant that specializes in crab, worse crab I have ever eaten in my life.

Do not eat here or waste your money. You would be better off eating Wendy or some fast food. Service was terrible, food bland and under cooked. Wife got sick and food poisoned. Not worth prices either. Crab is in the title but do not have many crab menu items.

This is a fun bar in Key West not on the water but there's a pool and a bar and the food is decent we got the Seafood Tower not great and very expensive but definitely worth it lots of fun
