I ordered all the items that contain mac n' cheese croquettes, wings, mosquitoes, oysters and ceviche. all were so delicious and only $5 per. the waiting staff was very fast to bring drinks and food. they cleaned the plates and the table and were very helpful. only failed was the happy hour meerjungfrau camp had not had enough time to cool when I was there at 4 o'clock, so there was no available throughout the happy hour. for two people we ordered 8 happy hour foods and a meermaid camp. I felt it was a sufficient amount to dinner. the bill came $50. good for the cost!
We have tried to visit thirty mermaid a few times and either could not make reservations or it was closed. we finally have the chance to enter for a happy hour. the only reason why we were not at dinner was that we were looking for groupers and they were not on the menu. we drank cava because we did not drink beer, but it was absolutely delicious. we ordered tuna pot, mac and cheese croquets and oysters. everything was slightly flowering amazing. we left and said we should have eaten here, but next time we'll be safe. what a fantastic place!
I decided to treat myself and went on a glutonic food journey that both my body and my soul. Tilefish ceviche, pei and bi jou oy oyster, otopus bruchetta, dampened near-neck clams with smoked pig bell, yellowfin tuna crusade, and sautéed bahamain conch with artichoke salad... all couples, natural, with a jai alai. everything surpassed my expectations, the personal was amazing Thirty mermaid is one of my new favorite places. I think of planning another trip to key west to eat here again:
I had expected this place to be more than a bar and grill. Rather it was an elegant and cozy upscale restaurant. had the wedge salat and rock steak. the woman had the thunfish shell. both were excellent and perfectly cooked. very pleasant experience.
If you've never been, you should go! This place is quaint but the food is AMAZING! Tuna poke, seared scallops, local beer. Come give it a try, you won't be disappointed
