The sides were made in house, and the sandwiches were fresh, delicious generous. The people working in the deli were also open friendly. We had a lovely view of the water from our table, too!
Wow off the beaten path is an understatement for those who don't live local. Almost like stepping back in time. Breezy sea air, boats gently swaying in the harbor and creeky screen doors inviting you in. Sandwiches were on par. Yum'o Bacon turkey avocado on sourdough. We'll be back.
If you need a loaf if bread of some milk and don't want to dive to Silverdale or Poulsbo then this is your place, if you want a decently priced sandwich or a better than meh pizza then you need to go somewhere else. The staff runs from apathetic to rude depending on who is working. I have heard the older guy with the mullet tell customers that he hate kids while there are parents with kids in the store. I have lived in town for close to 10 years and only darken their door when I have no other choice.
This place is so great. We came here for a delivery next door work and we stopped in for breakfast!! Great idea and great price. I had the Benedict and my cow worker had the breakfast burrito. Both excellent choices. If I'm ever sent to Keyport again I'll take a detour to try something else on the menu : The only thing I'd say is not so great is getting the Benedict and having to cut it in a Styrofoam container. Lol. Once you get it down and don't poke a hole you are good. Thank you for the great breakfast!!
This hidden gem is perfect for a midday coffee or lunch. It transports you back to the nostalgic feel of a Mom and Pop shop from your childhood. The staff is excellent as well!
