Sinohouse - KG Alsergrund

This is my second time here and the chef continues to amaze with his Malaysian and Thai food. The Nasi Lemak was delicious and the curry was wonderful. However, the last time the fried rice noodles was a little off with less taste then the usual strong Asian flavour. The Malay preserved salad or azar was very tasty and the satay is a must try. Their menu has a very wide choice catering to a wide level of spiciness and flavours. The service was very friendly and ever ready to accommodate various requests. Overall, I and my friends had an amazing Asian dinner.

We had a great evening at Sinohouse. From the moment we called to make a reservation, we felt very welcome and staff was very friendly and attentative during our dinner. For starters we had the calamari in green tea, the calamari was cooked to perfection and tasty.As a main we had the crispy tamarind duck and the Malay style noodles. Perfect combination. Noodles were just the right amount of spicy, the duck very tender with little fat. Sinohouse does not only sell good wines by the bottle, they also have a fair selection of wines by the glass.Portions were so big, we couldn't have dessert anymore, but they looked delicious as well.The whole environment is very cosy, great place to spend an evening dining.We will definitely come back!

After a week in Vienna needed some Asian Food - so went to SINOHOUSE - Dim Sum with original very nice taste as well as chicken fried rice and also the fresh grilled pork belly together with very nice self made soya sauce was very delicious and my son and me had a very nice evening. Next time again!

I am not an asian food fan but about to become one with this new discovery in town! Good food and generous portions( I highly recommend the chicken sateh with peanuts sauce) .. Not too spicy, cosy atmosphere and nice service , somewhat overpriced for Vienna I must say. but we will definitely go back to try the drinks next time ;-)

As long-term traveler to various countries in Asia, I believe I have tasted many varieties of Asian food. Congratulations. This restaurant serves wonderful food at decent prices. The green papaya salad is delicious; the pad thai noodles are in my opinion very good - the best I have had in Vienna so far. The service was very attentive; although there was a party going on the other guests were in no way neglected. I will definitely return again.
