The atmosphere is nice -- typical restaurant trying to be Italian with red and white tablecloths, etc.But the rest...unruly children and a loud table of guests at the next table. To the point that my partner and I could not have a real conversation. The service was beyond bad --- confused and missed orders, clearing the plates at the wrong time, struggled to get the check. Even our perfect English and German did not help.I could excuse all of this if the food would be good. It was not. Pasta Arribatta very dry and cold and pasta Vongle so salty that it was inedible in a sauce that was grey in color. Either uncleaned clams or???I wanted to like this restaurant because I go to this neighborhood often. But I cannot recommend it.
We were looking forward to trying this place - the waiter wanted to take my fork and poke in my pizza to proof that there was tomato sauce there. When we wanted to pay our bill he wouldn't let us pay separately because he "didn't have time for that". A shame we won't be able to go back.
Menu only in Austrian or German, very reluctant to help us understand what they had on offer. Had fish platter, waited a long time for it to arrive, when it did most of fish was very overlooked. Too hungry not to eat and did not wish to wait longer.Felt neglected during our meal, no one checked to see when we needed more drinks etc.
Went there with my family during our city trip to Vienna. The food was great. We had pizza and pasta. Real Italian.
