We were in chandor and visited the flames. in particular a dame burned sage to discourage mosquitoes, which added a large fragrance to the beautiful, well decorated outdoor escaping area. there is also a sand area for children and a swing. unfortunately we were. because of the transport in our accommodation no longer in the position. the flames should be visited in the evening from the beautiful lighting. I'm very grateful.
We came here after we visited the Braganza houses and it was a mistake. the whole place was untidy and could have done with a clean one. the toilets were a scandal, but they go through the kitchen on the way to them. the kitchen. the door was open and you could see how eating on the floor was stacked and everything was open, whatever was going on. our drinks came in glasses that could have done with a clean one too, so we decided not to eat there and go hungry. the loud music was too overwhelming, and it took time to serve.
This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and an ideal spot for a gathering with family or friends. Don't miss out on dining here, as the food is truly delicious.
A trip to Goa is not complete without a visit to Chandor and its grand colonial bungalows. While on our way to Chandor, we noticed several posters for Flames and decided to stop by for lunch. The restaurant is located on the main road and is easy to find. The decor is vibrant with colorful walls and humorous posters that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Flames offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is a family-owned establishment where the owner personally attends to your order. He is friendly and keen to share local history and recommendations for nearby attractions. The food was decent but not exceptional, and the wine selection was limited. We found the prices to be quite high, with a significant markup on the Indian rose we chose. Unfortunately, the paneer we ordered was not fresh, but the owner sincerely apologized and did not charge us for it. If you are craving a quick bite after exploring the historic bungalows of Chandor, Flames is a convenient stop. However, it's important not to have high expectations based on the advertising seen on the way there.
