Nice place had afternoon tea, a little expensive, but it is worth saying that the food was fresh and tasty. We loved it ...................
Beautiful afternoon tea from ham and mustard, cheese and onion, egg and truffle sandwiches, chorizo and red paprika wrap, sausage roll, clear and fruit cook, a selection of cakes including carrot cake, red velvet cake, macaron, chocolate cake and chocolate flowerpot. The service was good although we received the wrong cocktail and had to ask twice for the bill, but otherwise very attentive, friendly and warm, the bill came to £97 £32pp for the afternoon tea, drinks and tip). Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend.
I have been several times for afternoon tea and it was consistently good. The service was very good and staff extremely polite. We are older ladies and my friend used a walking stick, we sat on a sofa, on a low coffee table and found this a little uncomfortable, but on request a more comfortable place the employees were happy for us to choose a free space and helped us move.
Had the most wonderful lunch at the restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was all incredibly impressive all the way from the friendly staff to the mouth watering food, and all in such a lovely setting. The little birthday “extra” was an especially nice touch many thanks!
