The hotel services are perfect and I enjoyed the variety and speed of their kitchen.
Great place for late evening excursion with billiards and ping pong table and beautiful dance floor. Nice grills. Warm and nice crowd. The ping pong, billiards and bowling are very old and have to be renovated.
Beautiful family location... have outdoor activities for children and indoor pool table and booling activities, in everything it was a great experience
Mamba is truly an all in one stop; there is a restaurant, a bar, a bowling alley, a pool, billiard's tables, table tennis tables, a park for kids, and a hostel. I stayed in the hostel and had a great experience. The dormitory is reasonably priced considering Kigali is more expensive than many other cities in East Africa and Kimihurura is a particularly upscale neighborhood in Kigali. The beds are comfy, the mosquito nets are effective, there are hot showers (hotter than anywhere else I've stayed in East Africa watch out! It can actually burn you! , a beautiful balcony overlooking the property and the hills of central Kigali, and breakfast is included. For the best prices, check in directly through the hostel as there is a check in fee online. It's worth noting that in the dorm, only a select few bottom bunks have power outlets; the main power outlet is nearby two bunks which I highly recommend snatching if you get the chance! The mosquito nets are also very tight and make getting into the top bunks quite a pain. The main power outlet accepts all international plugs, but the wall outlets are only Euro plug compatible. The WiFi is inconsistent; when it's fast, it's super fast, but when it's slow, it's aggravatingly slow. Fortunately, it's fast the majority of the time, but prepare to use data when it gets bad. The people who work at the establishment are all very friendly and welcoming and will happily tell you about Kigali. The establishment is also frequented by travelers and locals alike which makes a very fun atmosphere on Fridays and Saturdays. I don't really have any points that annoyed me with the hostel it can get a bit loud on weekend nights, but it more than makes up for it with the good food, excellent beer selection, and great atmosphere! The food is indeed very good, but there are even better international restaurant selections nearby. I will definitely be coming back if I find myself in Kigali in the future!
