The dinner experience was well thought out! The food and service were excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They were also super taken to the little ones, which was sweet. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Very recommended! I'll do it again.
I have the pleasure to go to Sunday brunch and let me tell you this place has NOT disappointed. They offered food from 5 different cultures, and everyone and everyone was on the point. I apologize for not remembering the 5 different. My only complaint should be that no alcohol is included in your purchase, but juice, coffee, tea, milk, soda, all other drinks are included in the price. Recommend this place that could always be on the fence. It was worth the price.
The culinary experience was exquisite. We tried some of the appetizers. The pigs belly Bao bread rolls had a unique design, but exceptional taste. There was a slight crack to the pig belly, which perfectly complemented the soft Bao bung. The bacon jam and selected vegetables lifted it, so every bite was incredibly tasteful. The oishi sushi was also very good. It was as good as a Tempora covered sushi roll as I arrived somewhere. The lavender honey crispy shrimps were also very tasteful. The sauce was quite delicious and the shrimps had an excellent cripple to them. I had the Korean braided short ribs. They were very delicate with the right amount of fat content. I added a Tempoura lobster tail with dipping sauces on the side, the pineapple sweet Chile sauce was my favorite. We had Malasadas filled with coconut ice cream for dessert, which were some of the best Malasadas we had on the island. I'll come back to Maui's next trip.
We had an incredible experience here last night on the island. We were able to get a table for two with premium sunset without reservation (about 5:15). Leanne (our server) was busy, but very attentive and a good photographer for our pair under sunset. The ahi on a rock was great and a fun experience to sea your own fish. The flat iron Kobe beef was very tasteful and a great choice. The seafood Lau Lau Lau was excellent! And the Molokai sweet potato mash was a great addition. The lemongrass coconut broth was great! We got the wrong dessert, but it was our number two choice, so it wasn't an unpleasant surprise. It was lillikoi cheesecake and delicious. We're great too. Thanks for a great experience. We recommend
The food was fantastic and Brandon our server was outstanding, welcoming and knowledgeable. He rates a 5!!!!! The ambience was romantic and beautiful and rates a 5!!!! The 3 rating is because we were snub when we initially arrived. The place was basically empty with the exception of the bar;which was filled w/ 20 or so patrons due to the super bowl. (We'd just gotten off of an 11 hr airplane trip ,jetlagged and hungry...not mention excited to be in Maui) We were patrons of the hotel and were turned away for locals who were not present but said to have a reservation. They told us they were booked and we'd need to use OpenTable to try and book for another day and if we were lucky we might get a spot. We'd just arrived in Hawaii as guest of the FAIRMONT and this was our initial dining experience. We addressed this with our concierge Ron at the Fairmont and he called and got us a table. When we arrived back an hour or so later there were only 10 others dining....we were there for 90 mins and during that time the place never filled up.. Booked...I THINK NOT!!!! We understand that reservations were required but the issue was we could see that they in fact weren't booked. My suggestion would be to allow Resort guests to book reservations with booking their stay, this would cut down on frustration and disappointment .
