Mcdonald's - Kīhei

After their recent renovation, the food at this restaurant was initially quite disappointing. However, they have since made some improvements and now offer standard McDonald's fare. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the new layout as it can be difficult to find assistance from a staff member when dining inside. It is probably better to use the drive-thru instead. As for kid-friendliness, the restaurant is suitable for children, but please note that there is no designated play area available.

We were in town looking for a place to eat.Tried our luck at a couple of restaurants without reservations the wait time was 1.5 hours.Headed to the food truck area and it was crazy busy, the fish market had lineup turning around the block.Tired of looking around decided to come here. The place is renovated and quite clean.Had a quiet meal which we enjoyed I am sure more than waiting 2 hours for food truck food.A good back up place if you are stuck and value your time ?

I grew up eating fast food at what we call McDonald's. I don't eat fast food very often these days, but my kids love it. The service at McDonald's can be slow, depending on which location you go to, because they are always busy.

I was charged twice for my order placed through the mobile app. Tony, who was very polite and helpful, asked me to meet him at the next window so he could speak to another manager (a blonde female wearing a purple t-shirt). Unfortunately, this manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me it was not her problem and refused to help me contact customer service. Her behavior towards me and in front of her employees was not only disrespectful, but also a poor example of what a manager should be. I feel sorry for the employees who have to look up to her as a mentor. It is no surprise that the restaurant is struggling to find good employees with people like her in leadership positions. Please strive to improve your management team.

Just got nuggets and fries for the kids and wife. My wife ordered an iced tea and it came with ice to the top of the glass. After finishing her couple sips, she went to ask for a refill but was told no refills. First McDonald's I have ever been to where I was denied a refill.
