Benis Mexican Kilgore.#1

Was good. This is a family owned restaurant and they were super sweet. Food was good and service was great. I would recommend that they get a soda fountain machine instead of using 2 liter bottles.

Food was so good! It was tiny, but still clean and very nice service. Will definitely stop here again!

Coke was flat, steak taste like fish, and queso and salsa was watered down, tortillas were raw or just greasy not sure.I’ve heard good things about this place and hope it was just a tough night and not always like this.

Stopped in for lunch close to 1pm. Have lots of lunch specials to choose from. I asked if they had charro beans and told no, not a big deal, then got charro beans with meal. Don't know what that was about. Beans weren't done but flavor was good. Enchiladas luke warm like they'd been sitting out. Took less than 5 minutes to get food once ordered. Quesadilla fajita beef was tasty but cheese was room temp like already made and sitting out. All in all decent place just think we caught them at bad time. Way better than a lot of other Mexican restaurants in Kilgore.

The food and atmosphere are always on point! The portions are above satisfactory for the price point.
