Front Porch Cafe- Kill Devil Hills

After I tried another coffee shop in the obx and was heavily underwhelmed, I took my two-year-old to the front porch this morning. the atmosphere in the inner was welcoming; there were many seats inside and outside. They had an extensive, easy to read menu and many delicious looking foods. my hot mocha was excellent. but what I really share is their excellent customer service. my daughter started crying when we waited for our drinks, and I wasn't sure how I wanted to wear three drinks and a crying baby in my car. the cafe worker in the register intervened and asked my daughter if she wanted a “special children’s coffee” – she filled a small coffee cup with some water, wrote a silly name on the cup and cursed my unhappy child. you better believe I'm in obx next time!

The coffee beans are roasted right here where you can see it!! Best quality freshness anywhere!Various coffees, teas, additional flavorings, baked goods, unique goodies, and a the most friendliest staff!!I love this place!

Wide range of hot and cold coffee drinks, teas, and pastries. Bagged coffee to take home, too all roasted in store. Cheery staff!

The staff at the register and others are awesome, so friendly. Coffee is incredible. Better than the neighboring shops. But being nice adds to the value and that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Great coffee, muffins atmosphere!! We ordered the banana nut muffin when we went and went back into the store for another because it was that good!
