Locals walked in after us, were seated, received their orders and left before we were served ANYTHING. Felt totally discriminated against and disrespected. Ultimately, the food was quite good but the abysmal service overshadowed the entire meal and ruined a long awaited evening with family. Writing this review while not expecting management to even care. They have their regulars. Why bother with anyone else? Will never return.
We had lunch at this amazing bar where we ate the best fish and chips we’ve had in our round-Ireland trip! The roast was also excellent. Liz, our waiter, was absolutely lovely and gave the best pieces of advice for our afternoon in the Killarney area. Thanks again!
A voice of two roasts lamb or turkey/ham. Lovely crisp vegetables and a gravy to die for.... Wide variety in the menu but I can never get past the roasts Great friendly helpful staff. Make sure to stop in your way through or back from Dingle
We stayed at the Anvil for 4 nights. It is a great location to explore either the Dingle Peninsula or the Iveragh Peninsula. A car is a must. We loved it because it is not a tourist town. It is an authentic small Irish village. The proprietors Liz and Steven made you feel like family. On top of that the food was amazing. Most certainly the best Irish breakfast in my time in Ireland.
Very good meal I had the Fish Chips my wife had Lasagne and our friend had the Burger all of which where very well made and presented the staff were excelant and very friendly We would recomend to anyone who is in this part of Kerry.
