Thankfully, we made it back just in time today for those delicious breakfast tacos. The prices vary depending on how many toppings you choose, with options like chorizo, brisket, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and more. My personal favorite is the brisket, egg, and potato combo. You can also opt for a breakfast bowl with extra toppings if you're feeling adventurous. While Rudy’s is famous for its BBQ, their breakfast offerings are fantastic too! Just a heads up, not every location serves breakfast, but this one does—just make sure to arrive before 10 AM!
Absolutely fantastic in terms of quality, portion size, and price. Rudy's is on the more affordable side, but that definitely doesn't compromise the quality of the food. My favorites are the marbled brisket and sausages—they're incredibly tender and juicy. Just add some Rudy sauce, and you're set! The service is fast and friendly, and they offer a condiment bar where you can help yourself to pickles, peppers, and more. There’s plenty of seating available, making it a great option for families and larger groups.
During our Texas road trip, we stumbled upon several locations of Rudy's BBQ. I hadn't thought much of it until a family from Killeen shared their stories about the place, sparking my curiosity. I ordered the moist brisket at the counter, and shortly after, a returning customer next to me praised it highly, saying the moist was her favorite. I took that as a great sign! We also tried the cream corn, potato salad, and pecan pie as sides. The brisket disappeared quickly—we devoured it like there was no tomorrow. Before leaving, we decided to get some regular brisket to go because it was just that good! I've never tasted anything like it back home, and I couldn't get enough. When I return to Killeen, stopping by Rudy's will be one of my top priorities.
We went here looking for good bbq. Keep in mind that we have no idea where to get well known Texas bbq. We recall my cousin took my parents and aunt/uncle to this place. So why not try it. We had no idea what to expect and how to buy. We ordered the Wet Brisket, potato salad and mash potatoes with gravy. After getting our order, we looked for a table and we unrolled enough butcher paper to cover our table. We have no idea how to eat. Some of us used the butcher paper like a plate and some of us ate from the containers the sides came in. I have to say the flavor of the wet brisket was absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop dreaming about it after coming home. It's so delicious! I want to go back again soon.
Great food. The sauce is amazing. The manager came around to ask if we needed anything and was very polite.
