The Waffle Den - Killeen

All: if you haven't sworn yet, then you're my friend on the best kick wash to survive in the states! and that's all! at least 40 different waffel aromen and they can adapt to their lust! (proposal: banana nut, spice, red velvet) all the aromen are bomb! the customer service is exceptional and eating is admirable! Do not believe me, then go see the taste for yourself. tourists come to kill only for the waffel den! the fried huh is not what they use! say they, mayadees has sent them!

Shows the best waffel place to kill. I eat here almost every weekend. never had a bad experience. incoming early because the line can get extremely long at the weekend; but eating is worth waiting.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but my experience at this establishment has been anything but positive. A few weeks ago my family and I wanted to try this place out. I called in to ask about some menu items, upon receiving my answers the employee asked my ig I wanted to place an order. I said I would discuss with my family and call back if I decided to get breakfast from this establishment. I called back 10 minutes later three times and no one answers the phone. So I assumed they had got a little busy, and made a 10 minute drive to the restaurant. The line was wrapped around the gas station, I sat in it for about 10 minutes and decided that I wouldn’t have enough time to get breakfast back to my husband before he needs to leave for work. So then two weeks later I decided to make the drive over again and wait in the line early enough to make sure I’d get breakfast back in time. I call three times in advance to try to place my order ahead of time; the first one rings for a minute, I call 15 minutes later and the second rings for twice before being declined, and the third I make as I’m driving goes straight to end call. I drove over, and I wait 35 minutes. I finally get to the window and order. They don’t have country fried steak (as they didn’t the first time I ever called in), so I opt for wings and a waffle and they tell me it’ll be an up charge… even though the menu has a price for two wings and a waffle. AFTER I order, the employee looks out the window to direct me to pull forward and says “it’ll be a 25-30 minute wait”. I asked for what part of my order (because if it’s the chicken, I’ll order something else). They say “all of it, we’re backed up.” Which I find curious because they’re only taking one order at a time via window, and the lobby/walk-in ordering isn’t available, and they aren’t answering their phones. Mind you, every car prior to me got their food within a few minutes after ordering, 5 minutes max. I will always go out of my way to support small businesses, but this is one that has wasted my time and patience.

Every time I eat from these places it is so good, the servers/cashiers are always friendly and very welcoming. the perfect pineapple is my favorites waffel and second in line is the biscuit and cream, there wings go perfectly with the hot sauce and wad.

Such an AMAZING place!! The food is great the owner is great and I definitely recommend going. They also sell their waffle batter so you can take some of that love home with you in your own kitchen.
