Need to escape… here is Nirvana…
Whilst the food was lovely, the service was very slow and the table staff not especially attentive, despite there not being many customers. We asked for items, such as Mi Wadi, that were not brought. It felt like the staff didn't really understand what they were doing. Perhaps it is because the place was closed for so long due to Covid. I would come again but they need to improve their service.
Great restaurant for a quiet Sunday dinner. I love the fish and chips, the mushy peas taste so nice, I believe they put some mint in it, amazing! One of my favorites!
We recently visited Limerick to drop our little darling to college and we visited The Mill Bar. It's location is fantastic on the Mulkear river, just at the salmon weir. They have a terrace overlooking the river and the old millrace, and the scenery is great. The menu is varied, and we heartily enjoyed our chicken and burger dishes. The food was very well presented and the portions were both generous and reasonably priced. The staff were as friendly and welcoming as you could ask for, and looked after our every need willingly. Should we have the opportunity again we will make it our business to visit The Mill Bar again. Top marks to all at The Mill Bar.
We were staying in a nearby suburb of limerick and stumbled across this restaurant. It has an absolutely stunning view/location so sit outside if you are able. We also enjoyed the inside, however, and moved in when it got a bit too cold for us outside. The wait staff and bartender were very friendly and helpful. Beers were great and we enjoyed everything we ordered (burger roast). I highly recommend the chicken wings here.
