The food was excellent and the service was fantastic; however, the restaurant was quite empty, likely because it's January.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was quite good for the price we paid. The standout aspect of our visit was the attentive and friendly waitstaff, as well as the exceptional cleanliness throughout the establishment. It’s clear that they have a well-organized system in place that addresses current circumstances effectively. We will definitely be returning.

On the downside, the staff now wear red polo shirts instead of the more casual attire they used to sport, and I’m not a fan. The polo shirts make the place feel more like a chain restaurant, like McDonald's, whereas I preferred the more relaxed vibe with casual clothing. Additionally, I’m not too pleased with the recent price hikes. For example, Jack Daniel's and Coke have gone from £2.95 to £3.25 as of 11/11/17. While I believe that most spirits have increased in price, I'm not certain about the price of pints and similar drinks. The last time I visited, a Jack and Coke cost £3.05, so a £0.20 increase on such a basic drink is quite steep, especially for a place that's usually known for being student-friendly. Overall, the employees truly are the best aspect of the restaurant, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. However, I do believe the prices could be more reasonable.
