The selection of cheeses isn 't vast, but it 's still on point with variety. A remarkable venture in working with what you got. The menu resounds this notion by driving for depth, rather than breadth. My lunch was fantastic, a panini that hit the spot with bacon-jam (yum! , and not breaking the bank. The owner is certainly playful with the patrons 'cream and sugar for your tea sir? ' 'Yes, ' I replied. Her grin gave it away as she sought to the task. 'I guess I 'll allow it. ' I laughed.
They have all the right cheeses. Their Swiss contingent is perfect for home made fondue. The panini's are great. The Kootenay Disaster is anything but a disaster except when eating delicious. The Gibby Kraut is perfect with the house made honey mustard bringing out the flavour of the kraut. Lots of quality local ingredients. Fantastic and friendly staff.
When we go to Kimberley, we go to this store. Great selection of cheeses, fancy pantry items and the best sandwiches.
Awesome cheese, had a glass of wine and the ploughman lunch. Their rhubarb chutney is amazing. Loved how they choose the cheese, so you try things you might not go to. Wonderful staff as well. A definite go to when in Kimberley
My wife and I had great panini's here. The baby change table in the washroom is very cool!
