Marketplace Cafe - King of Prussia

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service leaves much to be desired. The restaurant has a unique food delivery system where servers are not motivated to provide good service. Customers choose their food and drinks, pay and tip in advance. They then take a receipt, find a table, and hope that a server will eventually come over to take their order and inform the kitchen of their table number. The food is delivered by a kitchen runner, but it's unclear when drinks will arrive. Since the tip is already included, customers feel like an inconvenience to the servers. A simpler and more efficient system, such as taking a number to the table, would greatly improve the dining experience. Despite enjoying the food, it took 45 minutes to receive it, which was disappointing.

The service quality at this restaurant has declined significantly in the past year. During my last two visits, the experience was unsatisfactory. The server only took our order and brought drinks, neglecting to bring the bread and butter she had offered. There was no follow-up to check on our meal or refill our drinks. Additionally, they no longer provide the chocolate mints at the end of the meal. I recommend improving staff training.

The food at this restaurant is mediocre. The staff generally lack in attentiveness and it takes a long time for them to serve water and food. When ordering takeout, there have been instances where the food would sit in the kitchen for a prolonged period of time before being brought out. After waiting 20 minutes for a simple salad, asking a staff member to check on the order prompted immediate service, indicating a lack of concern for timely service.

So not only did they raise the price of the cheese steak, but they lowered the amount that you get to 6oz. So now you pay $10 for a roll with steak that only fills half the roll? I got the number to talk to the owner or manager and the number was disconnected? Do better Market Place, Do better.... This is a rip off... And I use to come to you guys 2-4 times a week.

I had lunch at this restaurant with my mom yesterday! The food was fantastic! We ordered the Wild Shrimp Salad. We used to come here often when we were at the mall, and we are excited to have lunch here again in the future!
