Jjs Dairy Hut - King St Cohasset

Very disappointed in the service. Can't rate the food cause I didn't receive any. Was standing in line to get ice cream and was told at 8:40pm that they were closed and wouldn't be served.

Overall: Consistently great soft serve with generous portions. Simple but tasty with must have Krunch Kote. Quick window service with a area to sit (when open). I have been going here my whole life because of how convenient it is. the parking can be really tricky backing out from the tiny parking area onto the main road which I think covid has improved because of the directed lanes. I love the classic soft serve twist in a cone with of course Krunch Coat. My family always gets extra Krunch Kote in a cup so we can redip after we lick. Must get napkins and lick quickly especially if you are in the car. I have never had any of the food but I like the hard Giffords ice cream which you can get in the supermarket so you know what to expect. I will continue to come for the rest of my life and will bring my friends to enjoy a refreshing treat. Also, beware of no bathrooms.

This should be five stars. They have a great system to keep people safe and to keep things moving. Two lines of parked cars, with the people in first cars able to get out and order at two windows, is perfect. Our ice cream was amazing. Our server was fun and helpful. While we were waiting, a man went up to the window with NO MASK and was served. Signs were everywhere masks required ....we watched him floundering around, trying to cover his face with his hands then with his shirt then just giving up when they still served him. He was there for what felt like a long time, even invading the personal space of a mask wearing customer at the other window. He also was all over the counter (which staff sprayed and wiped after he left). Horrible for teens working to have to police adults and deal with this! I really want to give you a better rating- I am sorry.

I prefer pistachio soft serve and it was amazing. Can't wait t go back. Staff was friendly and service was great.

I stopped in to grab a hamburger, but the place was not busy at all. After waiting for 10 minutes, one of the counter staff finally asked if they could assist me. I told them I was waiting for my burger. Around the same time, the manager or owner came out from the back and noticed there was an order. I asked if they had even started cooking my simple cheeseburger, and they said no, not yet. I decided to take my refund and leave. Honestly, if they're prioritizing their own meals over paying customers, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. There are plenty of other places to go for a burger.
