King Of Hearts

I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The carvery selection was excellent and all the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the restaurant was very comfortable. The new owners have really improved the place and the staff were cheerful and helpful. After our meal, we enjoyed a game of pool. We will definitely be returning and have even decided to make this our new local spot. We picked up a loyalty card during our visit and it was well worth it.

Very welcoming as soon as we arrived. Great food, served promptly and worth the money. They have also made a real effort in decorating for Halloween, looks awesome. We are local and will certainly be going back.

Absolutely beautiful carvery all the food was very hot a lovely selection of veg to choose from the cauliflower cheese was the best we've had will definitely be returning with my family of 6 , even the kids said the food was delicious and the desserts good size portion overall definitely recommended 100% thank you king of hearts

I strongly advise against wasting your time or money at this restaurant. My party of four adults booked a Sunday lunch hoping for a good experience under the new management, but we were sorely disappointed. We paid in advance for the carvery and were given a buzzer to alert us when it was ready. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited for over 40 minutes with no service or attention from the staff. When the buzzer finally went off, we were met with rude and aggressive behavior from the lady behind the counter. The food on offer did not look appetizing, with pre-sliced meat and frozen-looking sides. After a frustrating experience trying to pay the correct amount due to a mistake on their end, we eventually decided to leave and get a refund. The lack of customer service, apologies or proper management made for a disgraceful dining experience. In conclusion, this pub offers no food, no customer service, and no apologies.

What a very disappointing lunch, From the meat being cooked then cut on a slicer to the veg being boiled to death. I have had better microwave meals that taste better than this food. The beef had been over cooked and because of this had become very tasteless. The frozen veg had lost its colour. The so called roast potatoes was just as bad only one choice of potatoes.. The best thing was the Yorkshire pudding. The meal was over priced for the quality of it. Its a shame when you can cook a roast at home much better. I am aware that the pub as not long been reopened , but they really need to bring there food up to par. Felt no point in saying anything to staff as had already had bad comment from landlord about a veggie meal. You have to order the day before. Also charged full amount for a carvery that was just vegetables. Was looking forward to a nice roast as well this wasn't it
