The Swan - King's Lynn and West Norfolk

The service at this restaurant was excellent. We were greeted by Tom, who was gracious, and shown to our table by the host. We then placed our orders with Vinnie, who was also very friendly and provided us with excellent service. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much, Tom and Vinnie. We had a mid-week lunchtime business meeting with a small party at this restaurant. The hotel was cozy and inviting, and we enjoyed delicious food that was expertly prepared and presented. It was also great value for our money.

Upon entering the hotel, we had to navigate our way between two smokers blocking the entrance. Inside, there were quite a few loud customers, and the behavior of some of the drinkers was not very appealing. Due to this, we decided not to proceed with our booking.

When I made the reservation at the Swan Hotel I requested the following: a reserved disabled parking space; a window table in the restaurant; and a birthday flower arrangement on the table. The staff at this hotel are some of the best you could wish to meet, anywhere. Nothing is too much trouble. The food and wine was excellent; and was matched by the quality of the service; and the staff all seemed happy and willing to 'serve '. The table flower arrangement was very much appreciated; and I cannot that you enough for going the extra mile!! A few of the hotels in Norfolk could learn a thing or two from this place (take note Stratton 's; and The Hoste). All of the members of staff we encountered on this birthday celebration day were an absolute credit to The Swan Hotel; once again, thank you.
