The Royal Oak - Kingsbridge

My wife and I visit Marlborough three out of four times a year, so we're quite familiar with the area. This pub is fantastic! I may have had one of the best fish and chips I've ever experienced. The fish was perfectly cooked and not too heavy—seriously delicious. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you! We will definitely be returning.

I try to visit the restaurant from the Thames Valley for a few days each month.

The restaurant boasts a beautiful atmosphere and interesting decor, all at good prices with a pub-style menu. It's also pet-friendly! The live music adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot for a pleasant evening. I would definitely return.

A last minute quiet break, craving some peace and quiet away from the crowds and some wonderful walks. Superb position with easy access to amazing walks by the coast and very comfy stay with a wonderful, interesting host and friendly pub dog. Perfect stay for us. Also, couldn't have been more helpful when we realised we had left laptop charger in the room and kindly found it and posted it on a few days later. Would 100% stay again.

A little bit different from most standard corporate pubs. Packed with different things all around the bar areas as well as a selection of hand pumped beers at the bar and a wide range of other drinks. A very welcoming pub and the steak meals are also very good, I have tried quite a few over years. Something on most evenings, including live acts most weekends.
