The restaurant takes their Chicken Fried Steak very seriously and it has won awards, and after trying it, I can see why! The meal was excellent, and don't even get me started on the Coconut Cream Pie! Years later, the food is still amazing. It's surprising how it still feels like nothing has changed and likely never will. It's perfect for those looking for a nostalgic experience in a small town.

I had an amazing chicken fried steak at this restaurant! The mashed potatoes and gravy were real and delicious. I even took leftovers home in a doggie bag for tomorrow, although I might not be able to wait that long to eat them!

This restaurant, formerly known as Sweet Things, is now under new ownership and the quality of the food has declined. The breakfast options, like scrambled eggs and pancakes, are just average and need extra condiments to taste good. The coffee is now over $2 and burgers are served on regular buns with chips instead of the previous Hawaiian buns and crinkle cut fries. Despite these changes, there are still hidden gems in the area for those who know where to look.
