Lynn Garden - Kingsport

Hands down The best roasted chicken I had in my life. I ate here for the first time today and come back as soon as possible. Our waitress was attentive and ensured that our table was well maintained. All do the best and keep the good work!

The best roasted chicken all over the country without question. The owner came to our table to check us, he is a very nice man. This restaurant is great! Do not miss the opportunity to eat here when you are in town. This place is worth your money and time. 10/10, can?t say enough good things about Lynn Garden Restaurant.

My husband and I went to lunch a few days ago. When we came in, there were no personnel and no customers everywhere and several tables that were not erased yet. We picked a table on the back and waited. The waitress came out a few minutes later. She was very slow. Our table needed wipes and she told us we could move to the next table if we wanted, but we said we were okay. She said, "Well, I guess I have to wipe it off. They had nothing for a salad and no onion rings. We have a sandwich and tea. The cook brought the food out and cleared the tables. The waitress cleaned the dishes. My husband ran out of tea and waited for her. She's done and never even checked us. My husband was tired to wait and took his glass to the counter where she was and said he needed more tea. She didn't even turn around and told him that she tried to get the block out of the sink and that she tried all day. I doubt that. Then she told him she'd put it in a bit. 5 minutes later, she finally brought it. We ended a few minutes later and went to the register to pay. She went back to the kitchen and we waited a few minutes before she finally came back. She was so slow. She really didn't care if we were there or not. We didn't tip and we won't be back.

One of the best restaurants everywhere. I love the atmosphere, the food and the novelty. Lynn Restaurant's garden is a local treasure. My parent even went back to a date the day!

During COVID, this place has had to adjust. It's not the same on any level. But it is reminiscent of it's former self, with a family atmosphere, relaxed schedule and a buffet they've recently added back for some hours. (cafeteria style vs serving yourself). The history shown in pictures on the wall is phenomenal. ..great food, good people, a museum included. If you're like us and love mom n pop restaurants, you might also love Lynn Garden Restaurant !
