Bayview Farms Restaurant - Kingston

My husband and I sat in the "main" dining room at one of the four tables. There is a lot of space between the tables in this room; it allows servers space to manoeuvre, the owner and chef to stop and chat comfortably with diners, and diners to look across at the artwork on the walls and the shelves without disturbing the privacy of the other tables. Perfect. There are two small "private" rooms, one of which held boisterous parties while we were there, however -- because of the space and the lighting in the main room -- this didn't disturb us in the least. The food and service were excellent. The owner and chef (both involved and attentive) came to chat with us; they are genuinely interested in their diners' experience and very accommodating. In 40 years of travels worldwide, this meal and experience are in our 'Top 10'.

Went for dinner with friends and had one of the private rooms. The food was superb, the service was excellent, the noise level was comfortable, Clark was there with his great sense of humor and attention to every detail. One of the best restaurants I've ever experienced. Thanks for a wonderful evening. Can't wait to go back!

Intimate, with excellent food. This is the best place in town. They are very accommodating and service was excellent. Cannot wait to go back!

Menu choices are very unique with professional presentation. The owner takes an active role from the kitchen to the front of the house. Staff take pride in their service to patrons. Food choices are varied from Beef, Lamb and Fish and where possible they take great pride in accessing local providers for food they prepare. The temperature of the food was the only challenge to be noted. Original flavors and wonderful tasting food and ambiance will entice you to return for your special occasion. Be sure to ask about the history of the Farm. Visibility to the entrance off Bath Road needs to be improved!
