Essence Dining Room - Kingston

If there is a negative, the menu is limited. This is the place that allows the student at St. Lawrence College to revive their stuff as they learn their trade. Your website tells you what is available and you need to book your place as there are often no places available. That's all. A great price.

We enjoyed lunch and dinner in the dining room Essence. The menu was good, the food was wonderful and the service was great. I like the opportunity to buy alcoholic drinks. The cook come to discuss the meal was a very nice touch. Excellent work, everybody!

A party of 17 of us tries Essence Dining at St. Lawrence College last month, which is a fantastic find. For lunch is an amazing three course meal for $11,50 plus tax. There are dinner services of 4 5 courses For $21.95 tax, which I will definitely try. We booked through the website number and went down to the Culinary School in Portsmouth. Parking is on a premium, so if there are alternative transports, you can save this headache. At lunchtime during the specified weeks during the school year, you can fix from a limited menu of appetizer and main while the dessert choice. For my choice I chose a beetroot and squash salad and a filled chicken. Both courses were artistically presented and delicious. Dessert was a pineapple on the head cake I liked less, but was beautiful, independent. I will return regularly with friends and family.

Excellent value, inexpensive. $15 per person, choice of 3 starters, 3 ducks, dessert and tea/coffee. Interesting taste, good presentation. Servers are also students from the cooking school, so not polished/experienced, but polite and ready to try to please. You also have some elements for taking over, which seemed a very good value

We have enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Essence Dining Room. The menu was good, the food was wonderful and the service was great. I like the option of being able to purchase alcoholic beverages. Having the chef come out to discuss the meal was a very nice touch. Excellent job, everyone!
