Grecos Grill & Wine Bar - Kingston

Delicious, classic food: we had the calamari, the veal milanese and the special lamb shank and everything was incredible. The staff are super friendly and truly love their job, this will be our go-to restaurant next time we're in Kingston!

We sat at the bar and had one of the best dining experiences ever.We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly banter with Brian behind the bar, who was fantastic and really made our night. The overall dining experience was amazing, and i highly recommend Grecos!We started our meal with the spicy shrimp, which were cooked to perfection. Main course we had the veal chop and lamb shank on Brian's recommendations. Both dishes were tender, flavourful, and amazing all around. The traditional greek potatoes and veggies were just the right accompaniment. We really didn't want the meal to end.Oh, i almost forgot to mention the wine we had with dinner, a red cab from Nappa called Wind Storm. Too bad it is not sold at the LCBO. Full bodied, and the perfect pairing with our meal.The highest of ratings for this place and sitting at the bar, what a great choice. Thanks again to Brian, who made our night out even better!Sorry, but we forgot to take pictures of our meal, I guess digging in was obviously way more important than the pics.

Passed through Kingston while driving and decided to stop for dinner. I am so glad we did! The restaurant was already starting to fill up as we arrived immediately after opening. We sat at the bar and ordered three of the daily specials: lamb shank with pasta (it really did fall off the bone, as promised), lobster linguine, and veal chop with potatoes and veg. For starters, we shared the saganaki and mussels. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and downright delicious. Brian the bartender was charismatic, welcoming, and friendly: his conversation was energetic and entertaining. Drinks were amazing. We are definitely coming back for more.

Our waiter was incredible, and the tzatziki was to die for. We ordered many dishes, and all were good.

This place is phenomenal. Their food is fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable. And the service is excellent and friendly. Although, we had to wait 15-20 minutes outside with a booked reservation.
