Jack Astor's - Kingston

We had a fantastic time dining out with friends, although the restaurant was busy and noisy. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the current economic situation.

We have visited Jack Astors three times now, at three different locations in three different cities. Our first two experiences were not great, but the third time was a charm. The Kingston location exceeded our expectations. The server was friendly and the food was quite good. This visit restored our faith in the chain. The Kingston location is conveniently located downtown, across from city hall. We are excited to visit the rooftop when the warm weather comes back.

The restaurant was bustling that evening. Our server was efficient but overwhelmed with the crowd, so the service was not exceptional. The food was average, lacking in flavor. The chicken wings and sandwich were particularly disappointing as they were dry and lacked sauce.

Sat on the roof, view was amazing, service was great, food was yummy. I started to get chilly and asked to have one of the heaters turned on but it sounds like most of them are broken.

My menu option was no longer available so found something secondary...not as good. Nice day though.
