They've gotten lazy Good for group functions and if you like the consistency of a menu that may not have really changed in 25 years.
Minos is exceptionally overpriced for what you get.
Ordered some chicken plates, with extra sides of tzatziki and greek salads for a family picnic. We got all set up in the park, everybody was ready to dig in, only to find that stuff was missing from our order. No salad dressing, no tzatziki orders or buns, like we paid for. Made for a really ho-hum lunch. Seriously: have you ever ate a dry greek salad? What a let down. The chicken, rice, potatoes and veg were delish, but it would have been nice to have had everything that what we paid for.
Minos is on the quieter side of Princess Street.(past Gardiner St.)Atmosphere is very old world and beautifully decorated.Prices are fantastic. Was pleasantly surprised by the cost of their meals as I was in shock from the prices we encountered even at Breakfast. We spent $40 for a breakfast for 3 people at Denny's which might have cost $20-$25 in US.Our dinner at Minos for 3 people with a four course prix fixed meal was $87 .Choices were many and the meal s were delicious.Try it ,you will be as amazed as we were.
