Quiznos - Kingston

I'm a big fan of this Quizno's. The staff are all very friendly and personable. The food is excellent with good prices and good rewards...and they are very quick.

I had the chicken noodle soup and I must say, It's one of the best I've had in a long while! also the services were okay. I didn't have to wait for so long, unlike some restaurants, before getting served.

Our experience felt as if the restaurant was implementing a severe cost cutting strategy. We were in a rush, so we thought Quiznos would be a fast and reliable place to pick up food. It was not at all busy so it was fast but the attitude of the staff was very disappointing.One of our orders was mistaken for a more expensive sandwich but we were running low on time so we happily paid and did not argue with the manager who jumped in to say we were wrong as soon as he heard us discuss the issue with the cashier. They way he shut our casual conversation was not called for. We were also not allowed to customize our orders. I asked for a bit of hot sauce on my sandwich and was denied by the employee who stated that it only comes with preset toppings. I had a total of 4 olives on my 9 inch sub. Anyhow, we paid and I wanted to grab extra napkins for the 4 of us and some pepper but the entire condiments section was empty. I asked the cashier and was given ONE napkin from behind the counter. I still wanted to spice up my sandwich so I thought I would grab some jalapenos & banana peppers from the toppings section but there were no containers. I informed the cashier and we were handed ONE small container from behind the counter for the 4 of us. We had to ask twice to get 2 additional container one at a time. We felt embarrassed asking for these things and we are sure our actions might have left this fine establishment bankrupt.Hoping for better days and management at this sad place.

I used to visit this restaurant a couple of times a month, but after meeting the manager/owner Ajo Kurian Joseph, I will not be returning. When I walked in today, I noticed that there was only one clean table in the whole restaurant, even though there were only two employees working and few customers. I ordered my usual prime rib peppercorn sub, but when it came out, the ends of the bread were burnt black and the sandwich was missing sauce and tasted stale. When I brought it up to the cashier, he was dismissive and rude, eventually giving me my money back. To my surprise, he turned out to be the manager and owner of the restaurant. I was disappointed by his lack of professionalism and poor problem-solving skills. In my years of customer service experience, I have always been taught to do everything possible to fix a customer's issue, especially when it comes to food quality concerns. It would have been more profitable for him to remake the sandwich and retain a regular customer like myself. I hope that I do not get sick from my experience at this restaurant.
