Lazy is a big part of the Queens experience. In my first year I went there countless times. Now since covid they have changed a lot of things. Has gotten a bit worse in my opinion.
Good part of the university experience but it had declined rapidly since last year. The university implemented a 75 cent eco fee or you have to pay $5 to subscribe to their container program. It shows they really don’t care about the environment because if they did, the container program would be free. They are just looking to take more money from students who already do not have money. The service has deteriorated the most since last year. The old employees used to be friendly and have everything you need ready to go. This year, you have to get everything yourself and the staff seem unfriendly when you ask anything. The prices have also doubled since last year. I get that there is inflation but they have increased heavily. This has made the flex dollars the university issued last year for those in residence worth a lot less.
Could have more healthy options, but I get that they might not have time. Subs are really good.
It’s fine, feels kinda dingy though. Better than Location 21, in my opinion. Mexican station is pretty good.
