Baker's Sandwich Shop

I've gone to a lot of cafes in my time round hull, but I've never known any where to have such miserable staff, they all need a face transplant. The three younger ones are terrible never seen them smile once. Don't ask for anything different or you will get a dirty look and a grunt. Reminds me of a popular deli on holderness rd which had the same problem and now that place has closed down. Good look bakers hope you all get on well with your boss, cos you would be all on the dole if you worked for me.

I frequent this restaurant most mornings on my way to work and often for lunch as well. There are many female employees working on fulfilling orders, especially office brunch orders I believe. They prepare everything from scratch right in front of you. I particularly enjoy their maids of honour, in fact, most of their sponge cakes are delicious and much better than the cakes I've had from Fudge and the Olive Tree on the other side of town. They have a great selection of drinks and offer healthier options like yogurt, fruit, and granola if you're not in the mood for a bacon sandwich. I have never been disappointed with any item I've tried and the staff are very friendly. I recommend trying their homemade sausage rolls, they come in many varieties such as sausage and beans, sausage with stuffing, and sausage with apple or cranberry, all of which are better than those from Greggs.

We stopped for a breakfast sandwich, which was excellent. Unfortunately, the coffee we ordered did not suit our taste, so we ended up leaving it. We will stick to tea next time!

The restaurant offers delicious sandwiches at affordable prices, which is why it is always crowded. However, there was a slight inconvenience this morning when there were seven people waiting in line to order. The staff, particularly the ladies, seemed busy handling phone orders. At one point, there were seven staff members preparing orders while only one was serving customers. Another staff member eventually stepped in to help, but the bottleneck persisted as they were all using the same register. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to allocate staff more efficiently in order to improve the overall dining experience.

Always passed this place today stopped off and glad that I did why? food was excellent and well priced. Quality products served and above all they make a fantastic brew!
